Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Technobita corporate website at technobita.com and to the information you submit through it, for example a project request or a contact message.
Technobita also builds its own software products. Each product has its own privacy responsibilities and, where published, its own privacy policy. This corporate policy does not replace product policies and should not be treated as automatically sufficient for every product.
Who we are
The website is operated by Technobita LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States. For the purposes of data protection law, Technobita LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

The mailing address is used for correspondence and legal notices. It is not an office or a visitable location.
Information we collect
Information you submit directly
When you use the Start a Project form, a campaign landing page form or the Contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form this may include:
- Name and email address
- Company name and website, where you provide them
- Project type, current stage, timeline and investment range
- The problem you want to solve, the outcome you want and what you already have today
- Supporting links you share with us
- Files you upload to support a project request
- The content of a contact message and the type of enquiry
- The time you gave consent for us to respond to your submission
Please do not send passwords, access credentials, payment card details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information through our forms. If a project later requires access to systems, we will agree a secure method for that separately.
Communications
If you email us or reply to a message from us, we keep the content of that correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.
Technical and security information
To operate and protect the website, our systems process technical information such as the IP address of a request, browser and device information, the pages requested and security-related data. For form submissions we store a one-way hashed request identifier so that we can limit abuse without storing your raw IP address alongside your submission.
Campaign attribution
When you submit a form we may record the page you submitted it from, the referring page and any campaign parameters present in the address at the time, such as UTM parameters or advertising click identifiers. This helps us understand which channels bring genuine enquiries. It is stored as part of your submission and is separate from any behavioural advertising technology, which only runs with your consent.
Analytics and advertising data
Optional analytics and advertising technologies are only used in line with the consent choices described in our Cookie Policy. At the date of this policy, no optional analytics or advertising technology is active on the website.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Review and respond to project requests
- Review and respond to general enquiries
- Evaluate whether a project is a good fit for Technobita
- Prepare proposals, recommendations and next steps
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the website
- Prevent spam, abuse and misuse of our forms
- Keep business and legal records
- Understand website performance, only where you have given optional analytics consent
- Measure advertising, only where you have given optional advertising consent
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
Submitting a project request or a contact message is not newsletter consent. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us a question or told us about a project.
Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Steps you ask us to take before a contract, such as reviewing a project request and preparing a recommendation
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website and our business, balanced against your rights
- Your consent, for optional analytics and advertising technologies and where consent is otherwise required
- Performance of a contract, where a client relationship exists
- Legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information by law
Project requests and attachments
We treat project descriptions and uploaded files as private business material. Attachments are stored in private storage with restricted internal access. They are not published and are not given public links.
Uploaded files are checked for file type and size and may be scanned for security purposes. We only accept a limited set of file types, and we reject files that do not match the type they claim to be.
Project requests are reviewed by a person at Technobita. We do not automatically send project descriptions or attachments to third-party AI services and we do not use automated systems to accept or reject a project. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before introducing the new processing.
AI and automated decisions
Technobita builds AI products and uses AI tools in its engineering work. For this website, however, decisions about your enquiry are made by people. We do not make decisions about you that have a legal or similarly significant effect using solely automated processing.
Any future use of AI-assisted tools to help us review enquiries would first go through a privacy and governance review, and this policy would be updated to describe it.
Analytics and advertising
We separate three things: the necessary technology that makes the website work, optional analytics that helps us understand how the site performs, and optional advertising measurement that helps us understand our campaigns.
Optional technologies load only after you give permission through the consent controls described in the Cookie Policy. Rejecting optional tracking does not stop you using the website or submitting a project request. A successful project request is a business event for us regardless of your consent choice. Whether that event is also shared with an analytics or advertising platform depends on your consent.
Service providers and sharing
We use a small number of service providers to operate the website. At the date of this policy they fall into these categories:
- Hosting and infrastructure for running the website and its database
- Database storage for form submissions, submission records and related audit information
- Transactional email (currently Brevo) for sending acknowledgement emails to you and notification emails to us
- Security services that help protect the website from abuse
- Analytics and advertising providers, only where deployed and only after consent, as listed in the Cookie Policy
Providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share project content with advertising platforms.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to appropriate safeguards.
International processing
Technobita is based in the United States and primarily serves clients in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Our service providers may process information in the United States or in other countries where they operate.
Where the law of your location requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the mechanisms available to us and our providers, such as contractual protections, as appropriate to the transfer.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected or as long as we are required to keep it. Our current retention direction is:
| Information | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| Contact enquiries | Around 24 months after the last meaningful interaction |
| Project requests | Around 24 months after the last meaningful interaction |
| Attachments for projects that do not proceed | Around 12 months, or sooner where practical |
| Client and legal records | As required by contractual, accounting and legal obligations |
| Security and request logs | A short operational period appropriate to security needs |
| Analytics data (where consented) | Around 14 months, where the provider supports it |
| Advertising data (where consented) | The minimum practical period for the campaign |
These periods may be shortened where the information is no longer needed, or extended where a legal claim or obligation requires it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards that are appropriate to the information we handle, including validation of form submissions, rate limiting, private storage for attachments, restricted access and encrypted connections. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not promise absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, to receive a copy of your information in a portable format, and to obtain information about how we process it.
To make a request, email hello@technobita.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
You can change or withdraw your optional analytics and advertising choices at any time through Cookie Settings.

California and other US states
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of certain uses. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you are in Canada, we handle personal information in line with applicable federal and provincial privacy law. You may request access to and correction of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
Australia
If you are in Australia, we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us. You may request access to and correction of your personal information and may complain to us, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, if you believe we have mishandled it.
Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses and professionals. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
The website links to third-party websites, including our own product websites and external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate. Please review their policies separately.
Technobita products
Technobita products such as those listed on our Products page are separate services with their own accounts, data and privacy responsibilities. Where a product is publicly available, its own privacy policy governs the information processed inside that product.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date and last updated date are shown at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we process information, we will update the policy before introducing the new processing wherever practical.
